EXTRACTING THE FOLLICULAR UNITS

The excised skin bearing the old plugs.

The technicians begin to dissect the skin.

Stereo microscopes are used so the follicles are not damaged.

After the follicles have been extracted they are placed in the petri dish for implantation.

The accuracy and skill of the staff result in 636 hairs being recovered from the old grafts, well exceeding the original estimation of around 200.
