| About Dr. Bill Rassman:
Dr. William R. Rassman went to the Medical College of Virginia where he received his M.D. and then went on to surgical training at the University of Minnesota, Cornell, and Dartmouth Medical Centers. He served as a Major in the U.S. Army and was stationed as a surgeon in the Republic of Vietnam. He has worked in Cardiac-vascular, Orthopedic and General Surgery. He was a major researcher inventing an artificial heart in 1966 and commercializing the Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (1969), a device credited with saving thousands of lives annually. As a professional inventor with more than a dozen granted and pending U.S. and worldwide patents, Dr. Rassman pioneered numerous hair transplantation tools and techniques, including the gold standard of today's market, the Follicular Unit Transplantation technique. He is extensively published, with articles in prestigious business and medical journals.
